Adeiladwyd y porth i  hen Eglwys Llanfaglan yn ystod  y Bedwaredd Ganrif ar Bymtheg, ac er ei edrychiad hynafol nid yw'r porth o'r un dyddiad a'r hen Eglwys. Yn ochr ddwyreiniol y porth mae agoriad neu ffenestr ac yn silff i'r ffenestr (islaw ac uwchben) mae dwy hen garreg fedd sydd yn dyddio o'r G13eg. Yn ol Lynch 1995 mae rhain ar ffurf croes gyda choes hir (cross pattee).

Ar y garreg fedd isaf gwelir hefyd ffurf cwch - sgwni oedd y garreg yn perthyn i forwr ?

Un o'r pryderon wrth edrych i fyny ar y garreg uwchben y ffenestr yw fod yn amlwg fod ol gwisgo arni oherwydd y tywydd - ac efallai fod angen ystyried rhyw fath o gadwraeth ar gyfer y garreg hon ?

Tu fewn i'r Eglwys uwchben y drws mae carreg fedd arall hynafol yn dyddio o'r 5/6ed Ganrif. Arni mae'r geiriau FILI LOVERNII ANATEMORI  Carreg Anatemorus mab Lovernius.

In the east window opening of the C19th porch to old Llanfaglan Church are two C13th gravestones used as a lintel and sill to the window. Described by Lynch 1995 as long-stemmed crosses (cross pattee). these are visible outside the church.

The lower stone has an engraving of a boat or sailed ship clearly visible - and although neither stone has any names engraved the boat may suggest that this gravestone belonged to a sailor.

The upper stone is in very poor condition, the cross is still visible but the area of the stem is erroding badly - it probably needs some conservation work done as it is outside and exposed to the elements.

The 5th/6th century stone within the Church (key required) has the following inscription  FILI LOVERNII ANATEMORI  (The stone of)  Anatemorus son of Lovernius. originally the stone would have stood upright - the stone is now placed in the wall above the door.

The interior of the Church is unchanged since C18th.
